Reduction in posts

I have just posted my first new piece since the 18th. Unfortunately, this will be the pattern in future: I will probably be posting maybe twice a week from now on. I have many other things that need to be attended to. When I was posting virtually every day, some of my normal jobs were being neglected. Some of the longer posts needed 6-8 hours to research, write and layout, and I just don't have that much extra time in my day.

I will continue to check every day and respond to any comments that need a reply.

  1. Dear David

Though I love to read your posts on a daily basis ,in a way I feel having fewer posts per week will give more time for us to assimilate upon the same .

  3. David,

Thank you for what you are doing. I certainly know how much effort posting to a blog can take.

  4. David,

These posts are not normal readings but need assimilation and digestion. Frankly, I was feeling little chocked with so many per week.

Twice a week is a good frequency. Thanks.

  6. Does the Kanvashrama Trust still exist? After Hamsa died, I had some contact with Skanda that sounded as though they were having financial problems and, later, I heard that the Kanvashrama Ashram in Varkala had been sold to a developer. (I was at Kanvashrama in 96 and 97.) Kathy

I spent all day at the press today making sure that everything was ready for printing. The printing itself will start tomorrow. I have been promised the first copy before the end of July.

Thanks for the appreciative comments. I have enjoyed doing all the posts here. I will, other jobs permitting, continue to do it as often as I can.

The book is entitled Guru Vachaka Kovai and it is a collection of Bhagavan's spoken teachings that was recorded by Muruganar in Tamil in the 1920s, 30s and 40s. You can find out more about the book (and Bhagavan's role in its editing) here:

If you want to read some extracts from our new translation, here are three links:

  11. The links I just gave are not displaying in full. Also, they are not 'live' i.e., you can't click on them and get redirected. However, if you highlight them, and do a cut and paste job, the full addresses will show.

  17. How can a woman be expected to be happy with a man who insists on treating her as if she were a perfectly normal human being. See the link below for more info.
